Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the conduct expected of everyone who uses Nabu Science (“Nabu”, “we”, “us”). It forms part of, and uses the same defined terms as, our Terms of Service. By using the service you agree to follow this Policy.

1. Permitted use

You may use Nabu to upload papers you have the rights to use and to generate automated evaluations of them for your own research, study, and professional work. You may use the evaluation outputs in your own work, provided you do not present them as the views of the source paper or its authors. Use the service in good faith, in line with these rules and with applicable law.

2. Prohibited conduct

When using Nabu, you must not:

3. Content and rights

You keep ownership of the papers you upload, and you are responsible for them. Each time you upload, you warrant that you hold the rights necessary for Nabu to process the paper as described in our Terms of Service. We record this affirmation in our audit-events log (see our Privacy Policy). We do not use uploaded papers as training data, sell them, or redistribute them.

4. Enforcement

If we believe you have breached this Policy, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice depending on the seriousness of the breach. Where the law requires it, or where we judge there to be a risk to others, we may report conduct to the relevant authorities. Nothing in this Policy limits any other rights or remedies available to us under the Terms or at law. Questions about this Policy? Get in touch.
