# Nabu

> Nabu provides article-level, blind quality evaluation of individual research papers. It scores a paper you already have on the quality of the study, the reliability of its findings, and its real-world impact potential — each traceable to specific lines in the text. Journal name, citation count, and author prestige are excluded from the score.

## What Nabu is
- An independent, rubric-driven quality assessment of a specific paper a researcher brings to it.
- Blind: several independent reviewer models score every paper with no knowledge of author, journal, or institution; an adjudicator resolves disagreement on the evidence.
- Independent: Nabu has no relationship with any publisher, journal, or institution it evaluates.

## What Nabu is not
- Not a discovery, search, or recommendation engine. Nabu does not find or surface papers. It evaluates a paper you already have.
- Not a summariser or chatbot.
- Not a journal or citation ranking.
